The kidcore formula
Kidcore is about color and play. Start with one loud print, or a deliberate clash of two, then add accessories that look like they came straight out of a toy box. Nothing should look too polished, and nothing should match perfectly. Mixing prints is encouraged, as long as they share at least one color.
- Palette: the primaries — red, yellow and blue — plus grass green and bubblegum pink. For a softer take, swap to pastel stripes in lavender, baby blue, pink and butter yellow.
